Ann Collins-Ackroyd Yoga Teacher London Yogahome

Ann is a yoga teacher based in London. Originally from Australia, she has been living in the UK for 37 years.  Ann has been practising yoga since her early teens. It has always formed an integral part of her life, for both the physical and emotional benefits it brings. Ann’s relationship to yoga has been ever-changing and evolving, continually inspiring her to learn about herself and this ancient sacred practice.

Along this journey Ann discovered that her passion lies within the world of pregnancy and post natal yoga. She is drawn to the fascinating way that women’s bodies change throughout this period and feels honoured to assist along this process.

Ann initially completed a Yoga Teacher Training of 400 hours at the British Wheel of Yoga, with amazing teacher and author Dave Charlton.

She then went on to specialise in antenatal yoga, completing an antenatal course with Nadia Narain, studying with Dr Gowri Motha, the founder of Gentle Birth Method, as well as postnatal courses with Francoise Friedman, and Well Woman courses with Uma Dinsmore Tuili. She has also studied with renowned French obstetrician, Michel Odent and Liliana Lammers, undertaking the Paramanadoula doula course.

She continues training and is forever learning new skills.
